Install Export Tool 2 with a version that matches the first two digits of the DKCMAIN firmware version.

Use the following procedure to install Export Tool 2 on a Linux or UNIX system.

  1. On the computer, create a new directory to store the export tool program.
  2. Mount the installation media.
  3. Copy the \program\monitor2 directory in the installation media to the directory that you created in step 1. (Copy all directories and files including the \program\monitor2 directory under the directory.)
  4. If you are using JRE version 17.0 or 21.0, give execution permission to runUnix2.sh by using the command chmod a+x runUnix2.sh.

    If you are using JRE version 8.0 to 11.0, give execution permission to runUnix.sh by using the command chmod a+x runUnix.sh.
