You can check whether an error has occurred in a storage system by checking the LED alert for Health Status. Failure information can be also sent in an email message or SNMP trap notification. If a failure is identified, you can check SIMs in the alert list from the maintenance utility and take appropriate action. If the usage rate of a pool exceeds a threshold, or if an error occurs during the operation of a snapshot or remote protection, you can check the messages in the Health Status message box to identify the problem and then take specific action.
