You can remove information about a key management server that is no longer needed.

CAUTION:

If KEY MANAGEMENT SERVERS is set to Enabled in the encryption environmental settings, you cannot remove all key management servers. This restriction applies only to data at rest encryption.

You must have the Security Administrator (View & Modify) role.

Navigate to the key management server settings based on the type of encryption:
- Data at Rest Encryption: From the navigation tree, select Settings > Data at Rest Encryption > Key Management Server Settings.
- Data in Flight Encryption: From the navigation tree, select Settings > Data Inflight Encryption > Key Management Server Settings.
From the list of key management servers, select the checkbox for the target key management server, and then from the action bar, click Remove Key Management Server.

If you need to delete key management servers until only one or zero remains, review the warning message displayed on the deletion screen and select the checkbox to confirm the operation before proceeding.

This action performs a forced removal of the configured servers and generates an audit log entry.
