Mainframe ports provide connectivity between the storage system and mainframe hosts by using the FICON® protocol.
In VSP One Block Administrator, you can use the mainframe port management to view port information and modify the configured port speed. Other port operations are performed by using separate management utilities.
Mainframe ports are displayed only when the Dynamic Provisioning for Mainframe license is installed.
