You can view the volumes that were created from the mainframe pools.
You must have the Storage Administrator (View Only) role.
- From the navigation tree, select Mainframe Storage > Volumes.
The list shows volumes filtered by control unit.
- On the Volumes page, click Customize Columns to show the columns you want to view.
You can filter by ID or Name to view a list of volumes created from a specific pool.
- View the following information on the Volumes page.
- ID: Volume ID in decimal and hexadecimal formats
- ID (HEX): Volume ID in hexadecimal format
- Control Unit Number
- Name
- SSID: Storage subsystem ID
- Emulation Type. Options:
- 3390-A
- Total (Cylinder): Number of cylinders allocated
- Used (Cylinder): Number of cylinders in use
- Total (Byte): Number of bytes allocated
- Used (Byte): Number of bytes in use
- Pool: Pool name
- Pool ID
- Volume Type. Options:
- ESE: Extent space efficient volume
- PAV: Volumes used by Compatible PAV
- MPU ID: Processor handling I/O
- CLPR ID: ID of the cache partition assigned to the volume
