You can attach an existing volume to a server by selecting a volume from the server page.

Note:

If a host group (or iSCSI target) that was assigned to a virtual storage machine was added to the server by using another management tool, you cannot attach volumes to the server using VSP One Block Administrator.

  • You must have the Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role.
  1. From the navigation tree, select Storage > Servers.
  2. From the inventory of servers, select the checkboxes for the servers to be configured, and then click Attach Volumes in the action bar.

You can select multiple servers and attach volumes to those servers at the same time.

  3. Select the volume and click Submit to attach it to the server.

Volumes for which Attached Unmanaged is displayed for the volume type are volumes that were attached by using management software other than VSP One Block Administrator.
