Suspending a GAD consistency group stops synchronous data replication for all GAD pairs in the group.
Use this option to stop mirroring between systems. For example, before removing a replication environment or preparing for nondisruptive migration. Suspending a consistency group affects all GAD pairs associated with the selected group.
Make sure that the quorum disk is healthy. Suspend the consistency group only when the quorum disk is healthy. A failure on the physical path between sites while the quorum disk is blocked can cause the server to lose access to the volumes.
