This section explains how to define and verify an S3 object data source that contains the sovereign-ai and hitachi-iq-info buckets.
Make sure that you have administrator permission or at least agent builder permission. Also, obtain valid S3 credentials, including an access key and secret key.
The sample data for this agent is available from the Hitachi iQ Studio support community as the iqstudio-sample-cvcagent-data.zip file. The ZIP file contains documents in the sovereign-ai and hitachi-iq-info directories, which you extract and upload to your object storage buckets.
- Select the Data Estate Browser tab in the top navigation bar, and then click Add Data Source.
- In the Add Data Source dialog, enter the following information:
- Operator type: s3
- Name: Enter a name for the s3 object source
- Access key: Enter your s3 access key
- Secret key: Enter your s3 secret key
- Endpoint URL: Enter your s3 endpoint URL
- Region: Enter your s3 region name
- Click Add to create the data source.
- Verify the S3 object source:
- Confirm that the data source appears in the left navigation pane.
- Expand the data source to display the available S3 buckets.
- Verify that the sovereign-ai and hitachi-iq-info buckets appear.
- Expand each bucket to confirm that the system displays the expected files and objects.
When the system displays the buckets and their contents, the S3 object source is ready for use.
