Resuming a failed upgrade

The upgrade script saves its progress in a state file .iqstudio-upgrade-state.sh. If the upgrade fails during the process, rerun the upgrade command. Completed steps are skipped automatically.

  1. Delete the existing failed ProductRelease CR from the environment. 
    kubectl delete productrelease <name> -n iqstudio-operator
  2. Re-run the upgrade command. 
    ./iqstudio-installer.sh --upgrade --config-file=iqstudio-install.conf
