Configure S3-compatible object storage as a backup target in Veeam Backup & Replication.

In Veeam Backup & Replication, navigate to Backup infrastructure > Backup Repositories, right-click, and then select Add backup
repository.

In the Add Backup Repository wizard, navigate to
Object Storage, select S3
Compatible as the storage type, and then select S3
Compatible again.

Enter a name for the repository.

Specify account information.

In the Service point field, enter the S3 service
endpoint for VSP One Object. For example,
s3.us-east-1.vspexample.domain.com.
- In the Region field, enter the region.

Expand the Credentials list, and then select
user credentials to access S3 compatible object storage or click
Add and enter the access and secret keys of
the logged in user.

In the Service point field, enter the S3 service
endpoint for VSP One Object. For example,
s3.us-east-1.vspexample.domain.com.

Select and configure the bucket.

Click Browse to select the VSP One Object bucket that
you previously created from the list, and then click
OK.

Browse to an existing folder or create a new one.

Enable the immutability option and then specify the number of days the
immutability period should last to cover the retention period. Click
Next.

Click Browse to select the VSP One Object bucket that
you previously created from the list, and then click
OK.

Leave the remaining wizard settings at their default values to finish the
setup. Review the summary, then click Finish.
- Verify that the new object storage repository appears under Backup Infrastructure > Backup Repositories.
