When event log KARS06501-C (indicating that PIN status occurred) is output, troubleshoot the failure according to the following procedure.

  1. Obtain information about the storage controller by specifying the ID of the storage controller indicated in event log KARS06501-C.

    REST API: GET /v1/objects/storage-controllers/<id>

    CLI: storage_controller_show

  2. Confirm the pinInformation value from the obtained storage controller information.

    If the pinInformation value is null, the failure indicated in this event log has been resolved and you do not need to take action. If the pinInformation value is other than null, collect the dump log files of VSP One SDS Block for all the storage nodes, and then contact customer support.
