If the KARS06132-C event log is output after restoring storage cluster configuration, troubleshoot it according to the following flowchart.

CAUTION:

The procedures differ depending on whether new snapshot volumes were created by specifying the copy-source volumes (P-VOL) of the deletion-target snapshot volumes before deleting those snapshot volumes and volume paths as described in this section.

Note that, if you perform an incorrect procedure, newly-created snapshot volumes might be deleted. Pay close attention when performing the procedure.

Note:

Event log KARS06132-C indicates that you need to delete snapshots and volume paths managed by one storage controller.

When operation with multiple storage controllers is required, KARS06132-C is output multiple times. If all the snapshot volumes managed by the storage controllers corresponding to KARS06132-C are deleted, event log KARS06133-I is output.

To verify that all the applicable snapshots and volume paths are handled, use the REST API and CLI to list KARS06132-C, and after deletion, list KARS06133-I.
