Monitoring capacity usage helps you to avoid issues such as the system slowing down as usage nears thresholds or halting if the system unexpectedly runs out of storage space. By monitoring capacity usage through the dashboard, you can take actions to reduce usage or determine if additional storage is required before severe issues arise. Use the Capacity dashboard to quickly monitor capacity usage for file systems, storage pools, quotas, and virtual volumes.
The Capacity dashboard is available from the Dashboards application menu.
Viewing panels in a table or grid format
For panels that are available in a table or grid format, the default is the table format. To view the panel in a grid format, click the grid icon.
