Deleting a virus scan engine may reduce the latency of accessing the data on file systems but increases the threat of virus attacks and may result in loss of data.

- In the Virus Scanning pane, select the EVS associated with the virus scan engine from the list of EVS instances.
- Select one or more virus scan engines, and then click Delete.
