Adding a file replication rule

  1. Navigate to Data Management > Protection > Replication > File Replication Rules, and then click Create Rule.
  2. Enter a rule name and a description of the rule.
    Names in alphanumeric characters, hyphens, and underscores are only supported.
  3. Enter the type of files to exclude from the rule, select block-based replication minimum file size, number of additional server connections, and number of read ahead processes. For more information, see Additional information about creating a file replication rule.
  4. Set the following settings to System Default, and then click Create.
    • Pause While Replications Finish Writing
    • Use Changed Directory List
    • External Migration Links
    • Delete the Snapshot
    • Take a Snapshot
    • Migrated File Re-migration
    • Migrated File Exclusion
    • Ignore File Attribute Changes
