  1. Using a supported browser, connect to the File management software.
  2. Click Yesto proceed past the security alert, and log in as admin
  3. Navigate to System Administrator > Managed Servers and add the replacement node to the list of managed servers.
  4. Navigate to File Administrator > Configuration > System > System Overview to verify the firmware package, and if necessary, upgrade the new server to the latest SU release or to the same version as the cluster. If replacing a Single Node, Navigate to File Administrator > Configuration > License Keys to verify the license and,if necessary, add the model license key to upgrade the new server to the same model as the defective server.
    Note: This step requires a separate process, training, and license keys. Contact Hitachi Vantara if the incorrect model arrives for replacement.
  5. For a Single Node systems
    1. Navigate to File Administrator > Configuration > Server > Backup and Restore and then click Restore from Local File.
    2. From the Restore from Local File pane, upload the required backup file, and then click Restoreto restore the system from that backup file.
    3. Reboot the server.
