TrueCopy configuration and pair creation

Use the following workflow to configure the TrueCopy remote replication environment and create pairs:

1. Configure the data paths on the primary and secondary storage systems.

   For details, see Data path requirements and configurations.

2. Define the Fibre Channel or iSCSI port attribute (bidirectional) that will be used for TrueCopy operations.

   For details, see Defining port attributes.

3. On the primary storage system, create the TrueCopy association with the secondary system by adding remote connections.

   When you use iSCSI, register the iSCSI target before you add a remote connection.

   For details, see Adding remote connections.

4. Set the remote replication options.

   See Setting the remote replication options.

5. Create TrueCopy pairs.

   See Creating pairs.
