Some maintenance tasks are performed in response to conditions discovered during system monitoring, certain settings might need to be changed to meet changing operational requirements, and some tasks can be performed in day-to-day operations.
Pair operations cannot be performed when changing the firmware or if firmware changes are canceled. If you start a firmware change, make sure it is complete before performing pair operations. An exception is that you can perform pair operations from CCI even while changing the firmware or when firmware changes are canceled. If you want to use a volume connected to a host with NVMe/TCP, specify the paired volume in the dummy LU. For more information, see the Command Control Interface User and Reference Guide.
