The following table lists ShadowImage pair issues and provides recommended actions to resolve the error.

Issue	Recommended action
ShadowImage pair tasks are not properly performed, or an error message is displayed while performing an operation.	Make sure the storage system is powered on and fully functional. Make sure all SI requirements and restrictions are met. Make sure the input values and parameters are correct (for example, P-VOL and S-VOL IDs). If resynchronization (Normal Resync or Quick Resync) is performed for a pair immediately after a Quick Split is performed for the pair, resynchronization might end abnormally. After performing a Quick Split operation, wait approximately 20 seconds before starting the resynchronization operation.
The pair status in VSP One Block Administratoris incorrect or unexpected.	The pair might have been split, suspended, or deleted using a CCI command. If this did not happen, then the storage system might have detected an error condition during SI operations. Check the notification history window in Maintenance Utility and take corrective action as needed.
