You can migrate the following types of ShadowImage pair volumes as Volume Migration source volumes:
- L1 P-VOL with up to two S-VOLs
- L2 P-VOL with one or more S-VOLs
If you want to use another type of SI pair volume as a Volume Migration source volume, you must delete the SI pair first.
ShadowImage pair volumes cannot be used as Volume Migration target volumes.
Volume Migration volumes cannot be used in SI pair tasks. You must release the volume in Volume Migration before you can use it as an SI pair volume.
