A pair's status determines the access attributes you can set for existing P-VOLs or S-VOLs. Depending on the SI pair status, you might not be able to set access attributes for SI P-VOLs and S-VOLs for Data Retention Utility. Access attribute settings also depend on whether you set Data Retention Utility access attributes when using CCI.
