You can delete the SI pairs that you no longer need. Deleting a pair unpairs the P-VOL and S-VOL but does not delete their data. You can use the volumes of deleted pairs in another pair. In addition, the following troubleshooting operation requires deleting the pair: Recovery procedure from failure if one volume capacity used in the SI pair has been expanded.
