If you plan to use consistency groups (CTGs) to manage your ShadowImage pairs, check to see if there are any existing CTGs for Thin Image Advanced, TrueCopy, TrueCopy for Mainframe, Universal Replicator, and Universal Replicator for Mainframe. CTG IDs 00 to 7F (0 to 127) are used for SI, SIz, and Thin Image Advanced.
- To assign ShadowImage pairs to a new CTG, specify a CTG ID that is not already in use when you create the pairs.
- To assign ShadowImage pairs to an existing CTG, specify the CTG ID for the target CTG when you create the pairs.
You can use CCI to view and manage CTG IDs.
