The Host I/O Priority Mode local replica option enables you to prioritize host I/O responses over replication copy processing. When you enable this option, you can set the amount of time until copy processing fails. The available range for this setting differs depending on the replication configuration:
- When the ShadowImage P-VOL is used only by ShadowImage, the available range is 1 to 31 seconds.
- When the ShadowImage P-VOL is used by ShadowImage and other replication software, the available range differs depending on the configuration.
