The QoS monitor function collects performance information for the volumes or QoS groups on which QoS settings are configured so you can check the average performance of the volumes or QoS groups for the last 1 second. The following table lists and describes the performance information collected by the QoS monitor.
- The QoS monitor function monitors only the commands subject to QoS control. It does not monitor the control commands between storage systems.
- Performance information might be affected if any of the following maintenance operations is in process on the storage system or if an MP failure occurs during the QoS monitoring:
- Changing system configurations
- Updating firmware
- Changing controllers
