RIO MIH time is the length of time it takes to complete copying data through a remote path. When there are multiple redundant paths, the longer the RIO MIH time, the longer the timeout time before data copying is retried using a redundant path. For VSP One Block, system option mode (SOM) 784 is set to ON as the initial setting at installation. When SOM 784 is set to ON, the RIO MIH time is always 5 seconds regardless of any user-specified value. If you want to change the RIO MIH time, use the raidcom modify rcu command (for editing remote connection options) to change the RIO MIH time, and then set SOM 784 to OFF. After that, you can create or resynchronize a GAD pair.
When you reference the value of RIO MIH time, a user-specified value is displayed even if SOM 784 is set to ON.
