You must have sufficient bandwidth to handle all data transfers at all workload levels. The amount of required bandwidth depends on the amount of server I/O to the primary volumes.
To identify the required bandwidth, you must first collect the write workload data under all workload conditions, including peak write workload, and then measure and analyze the data. You can use performance-monitoring software to collect the workload data.
