You can improve performance by reducing the time required for pair operations at the consistency group level, but only if circumstances permit it.
If you frequently perform pair operations at the consistency group level and the system does not require host I/O performance, you can set SOM 1070 to ON to reduce the time required for pair operations at the consistency group level. However, if the number of consistency group pairs exceeds 1,024, the MP utilization rate will increase, so only set it to ON if it is acceptable. If the system requires host I/O performance, set it to OFF.
