Powering on the external storage system, I/O at secondary site

Use the following procedure to properly power on the external storage system with I/O at the secondary site.

  1. Power on the external storage system.
  2. Confirm that the primary and secondary storage systems and the external storage systems for the quorum disks do not have any blocked parts.

    If any parts are blocked, recover them.

  3. Check for SIMs about path blockage, and complete the SIMs.
  4. On the primary and secondary storage systems, establish connections to the quorum disks.
    raidcom check_ext_storage external_grp -ldev_id 0x8888 -IH1
  5. Confirm that the external storage system is connected correctly.
    raidcom get path -path_grp 1 -IH1

  6. On the primary and secondary storage systems, confirm that the connections to the quorum disks have been established.
    raidcom get external_grp -external_grp_id 1-2 -IH1
  7. Confirm that the external volumes of the primary and secondary storage systems are recognized as quorum disks.
    raidcom get ldev -ldev_id 0x8888 -IH1
  8. Check for SIMs about quorum disk blockade at the primary and secondary sites, and complete the SIMs.
