The procedures for the planned outages of the storage systems at the target and source UR secondary sites are the same as the procedures for a single UR system. The procedures for the planned outages during the UR system environmental migration depend on the progress of the migration procedures. In this section, the procedures prior to the steps for Starting operations of the target UR pairs are referred to as "during migration" and the procedures after the steps are referred to as "after migration is complete".
The planned outage procedures “during migration" are to continue the operations in the source UR environment. The planned outage procedures “after migration is complete” are to continue the operations in the target UR environment after completing all migration procedures.
The following procedures are based on the system configuration in which the procedures shown in the Workflow for creating UR pairs in the target environment is complete. If the planned outages are performed before completing the procedures shown in the Workflow for creating UR pairs in the target environment, skip the operations for the target UR pairs during the following procedures.
