Note:
  1. The pair status depends on the settings of the system option modes (SOMs) 448 and 449.
  2. The status after powering on the source secondary site.

When recovering from this failure, recover the source UR secondary site, and then restore the source UR pair because I/Os from the servers continue at the source UR site even after the failure occurs.



  1. Remove the failure on the storage system at the source UR secondary site.
  2. If the GAD pair status is COPY, suspend the pair by specifying P-VOL.
    pairsplit -g oraHA -IH1
    If the GAD pair status is PAIR, skip this step.
  3. Resynchronize the source UR pair from the source UR primary site.
    pairresync -g oraUR00 -IH1
  4. Confirm that the UR pair status has changed to PAIR.
  5. If the GAD pair is suspended, resynchronize the GAD pair.
