Configure a GAD secondary site to be used for the migration. The storage system at the configured GAD secondary site is used for the storage system at the target UR primary site.
Note:
Setting a volume for a quorum disk is not required for the UR environmental migration by using GAD.
- Configure a GAD secondary site by using the storage system at the source UR primary site as the storage system at the GAD primary site.
- Create a GAD pair by specifying the volume used for the P-VOL of the source UR pair as the P-VOL of GAD pair.
- Wait until the GAD pair status becomes PAIR.
