The procedure for recovering from a failure in which the journal volume for the source UR pair becomes full, and then the pair status of the source UR pair becomes PSUE for both P-VOL and S-VOL changes the pair status back to the status during migration to the target GAD+UR environment.

  1. If the journal volume for the source UR pair becomes full and then the UR pair is suspended by the failure, remove the cause of failure.
The pair status for the source UR pair becomes PSUE for both P-VOL and S-VOL.

Note: For VSP One B85, the status of the source UR delta resync P-VOL in the figure is PSUE.
  2. Resynchronize the source UR pair.
    Command example:
    pairresync -g UR00 -IH01

Note: For VSP One B85, the status of the source UR delta resync P-VOL in the figure is PSUE.
  3. Verify that the pair status of the source UR pair becomes PAIR.

Note: For VSP One B85, the status of the source UR delta resync P-VOL in the figure is PSUE.
  4. Continue the migration procedure.
