Using the P-VOL at the target GAD pair as the P-VOL of the target UR pair, create the
UR pair. For

configuration.

To connect the storage system at the target GAD primary site
and the storage system at the target UR secondary site, add a remote connection between
these two storage systems.

Create a journal on the storage system at the target GAD primary
site.

Stop the CCI instance on the storage systems at the target GAD primary site
and at the target UR secondary site.

Add information for creating a UR pair to the configuration definition file for each
CCI
instance you stopped. After editing the configuration definition file, start
each CCI
instance.
Specify different mirror IDs for the target GAD pair, the
target UR
pair, and the temporary GAD pair used for migration.

Create a target UR pair.

paircreate -g UR10 -f async -vl -jp 10 -js 12 -IH11

Verify that the pair status status becomes COPY.
In this configuration, the pair status of the target UR pair does not
change to PAIR.
