  1. Recover from the failure on the storage system.
  2. Verify that the pair status (I/O mode) of the P-VOL of the source GAD pair is PSUE(Local).
    If the pair status is PAIR(MirrorRL), issue update I/O and verify that the status changes to PSUE(Local).

  3. Continue data migration using the procedure described in Suspending the source GAD pair by specifying the P-VOL.
  4. If you want to restore the pair status of the source GAD pair to PAIR, suspend the temporary GAD pair created for migration by specifying the P-VOL, and then resynchronize the source GAD pair by specifying the P-VOL.
