- Verify that the host path from the host to the S-VOL of the temporary GAD pair that is the P-VOL of the target GAD pair is online.
-
Verify that the pair status (I/O mode) of the S-VOL of the temporary
GAD pair is SSWS(Local).
Command example:
pairdisplay –g oraHA01 –fcxe –IH0 Group PairVol(L/R) (Port#,TID, LU),Seq#, LDEV#.P/S, Status,Fence,%, P-LDEV# M CTG JID AP EM E-Seq# E-LDEV# R/W QM DM P PR oraHA01 dev01(L) (CL1-C-0, 0, 0)411111 1111.P-VOL PSUE NEVER , 100 1111 - - 1 1 - - - B/B - D N D oraHA01 dev01(R) (CL1-C-0, 0, 0)833333 1111.S-VOL SSWS NEVER , 55 1111 - - 1 1 - - - L/L - D N D
If the pair status is PAIR(Mirror(RL)), issue an update I/O to the S-VOL of the temporary GAD pair. -
Wait until the copy operation for the target
GAD pair is complete, and then verify that the pair status has changed to PAIR.
Command example:
pairdisplay –g oraHA02 –fcxe –IH2 Group PairVol(L/R) (Port#,TID, LU),Seq#, LDEV#.P/S, Status,Fence,%, P-LDEV# M CTG JID AP EM E-Seq# E-LDEV# R/W QM DM P PR oraHA02 dev02(L) (CL1-C-0, 0, 0)833333 1111.P-VOL PAIR NEVER , 100 2222 - - 2 1 - - - L/M - D N D oraHA02 dev02(R) (CL1-C-0, 0, 0)844444 2222.S-VOL PAIR NEVER , 100 1111 - - 2 1 - - - L/M - D N D
- Continue data migration by performing the procedure described in Deleting the source GAD pair and the temporary GAD pair for data migration.
