If the status of a GAD pair cannot be restored due to a failure, you can restore the pair status by forcibly deleting the GAD pair. However, do so only when forced deletion is instructed in this manual. Uninstructed deletion of a GAD pair might cause problems such as illegal data.
If you need to forcibly delete a GAD pair in situations not described in this manual (such as in troubleshooting procedures), vcontact customer support.
Note: If a GAD pair and a UR pair share a volume and you want to delete the GAD pair forcibly, first delete the UR pair and UR delta resync pair.
