- The GAD reserve attribute must be assigned to the volume to be used as an S-VOL.
- The virtual serial number and virtual model information of the S-VOL must be the same as the serial number and model information of the P-VOL.
Notes:
- Use the raidcom get ldev command to verify that the P-VOL capacity and the S-VOL capacity are the same size (same number of blocks).
- If you create a GAD pair when the ALUA mode is enabled, restart the server after the pair creation is complete.
