- Reset the virtual information.
raidcom modify ldev -ldev_id 0x1111 -virtual_info reset
- Check the virtual LDEV ID.

- If you set a virtual storage machine as a P-VOL, perform the procedure of VSM manual configuration in Setting up the secondary storage system, in which replace the S-VOL with the P-VOL when you perform the procedure.
If you set the virtual LDEV ID that is the same as the actual LDEV ID, perform the procedure in Setting the GAD reserve attribute on the S-VOL (VSM manual configuration), in which set the actual LDEV ID instead of assigning the GAD reserve attribute.
If you set a virtual storage machine as an S-VOL, you set the virtual serial number, virtual model, and virtual LDEV ID that are the same as the ones for the P-VOL. In this case, perform the procedure of VSM manual configuration in Setting up the secondary storage system.
In the procedure in Setting the GAD reserve attribute on the S-VOL (VSM manual configuration), set the virtual LDEV ID of the P-VOL instead of assigning the GAD reserve attribute.
