You can check the notification history for information sent as notifications (up to 100,000) to the window while you are logged in. The information in the notification history is discarded when you log out.
The following two types of information are sent as notifications to the window while you are logged in to VSP One Block Administrator:
- Notifications of operation results and other information
These are displayed as a snackbar in the upper right corner of the window.
They are displayed for only 5 seconds after a notification. Check the notification history to refer to past notifications.
- Notifications of warnings and failures
These are displayed as a error banner at the top of the window.
You can also check these notifications from the notification history window.
You must have the Storage Administrator (View Only) role.
- In the navigation bar, click
and select Notification History to open the notification history window.
- If there is a new notification, the badge
above the icon is displayed. - If there are no new notifications, the badge above the icon is not displayed.
- You can close all the error banners displayed at the top of the window in one operation by clicking and then selecting Close All Error Banners.
The notification histories screen is shown as follows.
Displayed item
Description
DATE Displays the notified date and time.
LEVEL Displays the alert level of the notification.
The level is one of the following four types:
- Information
- Success
- Warning
- Error
TITLE Displays the title of the notification displayed in the lower-right portion of the window.
MESSAGE Displays the results of specific processing such as volume creation or pool deletion. Long messages are omitted when displayed in the window.
To check the details, hover the cursor over the message or click DATE or Check to display the entire message.
DETAILS When detailed information is displayed in the notification, such as when the level is Warning or Error, clicking Check displays the detailed information of the processing results.
