Dashboard
When you log in, the dashboard opens. In the dashboard, you can check the storage system status, check the storage system total capacity, and view the following:
- Storage System Information
Displays the storage system name, model name, and serial number, as well as the status of resources. You can click the status to view a message about the health status.
- Capacity Usage
Displays the total capacity (the effective capacity during expansion) and used capacity of the storage system pools.
- Servers
Displays the number of servers that are registered. You can perform server-related tasks by clicking the relevant icons.
- Volumes
Displays the number of volumes that are created. You can perform volume-related tasks by clicking the relevant icons.
- Data Reduction
Displays the extent to which the stored data capacity has been reduced through the storage system capacity saving feature (deduplication and compression).
Note:After a volume is created from a pool and before data is written to the volume, the maximum value (99999.99) is shown.
- Storage System Performance
Displays status related to IOPS, response time (time needed to respond to requests from servers), and data transfer speed. You can identify values that differ significantly from normal values at an early stage by periodically checking this information. In particular, if there is a significant increase in the response time, a problem might have occurred on the storage system.
Note: If VSP One Block Administrator cannot acquire storage system performance information, the graph displays will not be continuous.
