You can resynchronize data in split or suspended ShadowImage pairs in the normal direction (from primary volumes to secondary volumes). You can resynchronize pairs in units of copy group or resynchronize individual pairs.

CAUTION:
Volume Migration pairs created by using other management tools might be displayed in the list. If you are using Volume Migration, check the copy type in the pair list on the copy group details window and proceed with caution.
  • Obtain the following:
    • Copy group name or pair names
    • Whether to run in quick mode
    • Copy speed
  • Make sure that I/Os from servers to secondary volumes are stopped.
  • You must have the Storage Administrator (Local Copy) role.
  1. From the navigation tree, select Local Protection > ShadowImage Copy Groups.
  2. To resynchronize pairs in units of copy group, select the copy group from the copy group list page and then click Resync ShadowImage Copy Groups in the action bar. To resynchronize a pair, select the copy group containing the pair and then select the pair on the copy group details page. On the ShadowImage Pair page, click Resync ShadowImage Pairs in the action bar.

You can select multiple copy groups or pairs to work with at the same time.

  3. Specify the required items, and then click Submit.
  4. Check the progress on the copy group details page. When pair resynchronization is completed, the pair volume status changes to PAIR.
