You can check the list of migration pairs. From the list of migration pairs, you can check the progress status of data migration.

Volume Migration pairs created by using other management tools such as Command Control Interface are also displayed.

Note: For migration pairs created for migrating data between storage systems on VSP One Block Administrator, when the data migration is complete, the IDs of external volumes and the IDs of volumes created from the migration destination pool are swapped.
  • During data migration, on the list of migration pairs, the Target Volume ID field displays the IDs of the volumes created from the migration destination pool and the Source Volume ID field displays the IDs of the external volumes.
  • Once data migration is complete, on the list of migration pairs, the Target Volume ID field displays the IDs of the external volumes and the Source Volume ID field displays the IDs of the volumes created from the migration destination pool.

To check the information, the user performing the procedure must be assigned the Storage Administrator (View Only) role.

  1. From the navigation tree, select Migration > Migration Pairs.
  2. Check the information that is set on the migration pairs inventory page.

Note: If you want to cancel data migration, delete the migration pair in progress. To delete the migration pair, the user performing the procedure must be assigned the Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role.

If you want to perform data migration again, delete the migration destination volume and then create the migration pair again.

The inventory page displays a list of the settings for migration pairs. You can check the progress and results of data migration by using Migration Progress Rate % and Status. For details about statuses displayed for Status, see the Hitachi Volume Migration User Guide.
