You can back up encryption keys used for data encryption as a file on the management client. If you cannot use backups automatically acquired by the storage system, you will need the backup file when restoring encryption keys.
Note: Even if the key backup fails, the number of backups may increase.
- You must have the Security Administrator (View & Modify) role.
- Make sure that a key management server is not linked.
- From the navigation tree, select .
- From the vertical ellipsis menu at the top right of the page, click Backup Encryption Keys to File.
- Specify the required items, and then click Submit.
- Make sure that the backup file is saved on the management client.
