You can create snapshots manually.
- Obtain the following:
- Server name
- Volume name
- Snapshot group name
If you want to register snapshots to an existing snapshot group, specify the same snapshot group name. If you want to register snapshots to a new snapshot group, you must create the snapshot group before creating the snapshot. - Pool name
Specify the pool in which to store differential data.
Note: Be sure to select a pool that has a sufficient amount of free space. If pool utilization exceeds the depletion threshold, creating snapshots might fail.
- You must have the Storage Administrator (Local Copy) role.
