You can configure the storage system to recognize drives that are inserted into slots and configured for use.
Make sure that the user performing the procedure is assigned the Support Personnel (User) role.
- From the navigation tree, select .
- Click Drive Settings.
- In the maintenance utility, click Install to detect the added drives.
- Click Install again for the storage system to recognize the drives.
- Confirm that the new drives are added to the list of available drives.
- In the maintenance utility, click Log Out.
