The following lists describes the user roles and their responsibilities in Mainframe Cyber Resiliency solution.
Mainframe System Administrator
Administrator of mainframe server. This role mainly implements the mainframe environment and maintains mainframe servers for operating systems and software.
Mainframe System Operator
An operator who performs server and storage operations on the mainframe system. Mainframe System Operator will have access to the components on the mainframe system for operations for example, Business Continuity Manager.
Open Server Administrator
An administrator of Windows Server (open server). This role mainly implements open server environment and maintains open servers for operating systems and software.
Open System Operator
An operator who performs server and storage operations of open servers. Open System Operator will have access to the components on open systems such as open server and Ops Center Automator.
Approver
An approver who checks and verifies the approval request of the Ops Center Automator services for the important changes such as scheduling that require secure operations. To implement this role, the Two‑User Approval feature must be enabled when creating an Ops Center Automator service on the open server.
