- In Virtual Machine Manager, right-click the KVM host on which you mounted the volume.
The Connection Details window opens.
- Click the Storage tab.
- Click the Plus in the bottom left corner of the window.
The Add a New Storage Pool window opens.
- In the Name field, type a name for your new storage pool.
- In the Type field, select dir: Filesystem directory.
- Click Forward.
- Click Browse.
- In the Target Path field, enter the file path for the mount point location.
- Click Finish.
After the new storage pool is added, it can be carved into storage volumes for virtual machines.
