Each power and cooling module in an S32 Node base enclosure has six LEDs. The top four LEDs indicate the status of the both the power supply and the fan in the power and cooling module. The bottom two LEDs are unused.

The figure below shows the front LEDs and icons on a power and cooling module.



The table below describes these LEDs.

LED Color State Description

AC fault

Amber Solid
  • Paired with DC fault lit solid: The AC power is not present.
  • Paired with fan fault and DC fault lit solid: Hardware is over temperature, over voltage, or over current.
Blinking Paired with fan fault and DC fault blinking: A firmware update is in progress.

PCM OK

Green Solid
  • PCM OK only: AC power is present; the power switch is on.
  • Paired with DC fault lit solid: The fan is out of tolerance.
Blinking The power and cooling module is on standby.

Fan fault

Amber Solid
  • Fan fault only: The fan has a fault condition.
  • Paired with AC fault and DC fault lit solid: Hardware is over temperature, over voltage, or over current.
Blinking Paired with AC fault and DC fault blinking: A firmware update is in progress.
DC fault Amber Solid
  • Paired with AC fault lit solid: AC power is not present.
  • Paired with PCM OK lit solid: The fan is out of tolerance.
  • Paired with AC fault and fan fault lit solid: Hardware is over temperature, over voltage, or over current.
Blinking Paired with AC fault and fan fault blinking: A firmware update is in progress.
