In addition to information such as the enclosure status, vendor, and hardware model, the ENCLOSURE page has diagrams that show front and back views of the enclosure. Colors and patterns indicate component status.
For an explanation of the colors and patterns used in a diagram, click Legend below the diagram.
The ENCLOSURE page also shows log messages for events related to the enclosure.
To see details and event log messages for the database drive in a slot or for an empty slot in the enclosure, click the slot in the front view of the enclosure.
To see detailed information about the enclosure itself and various enclosure components, in the ENCLOSURE DETAILS section on the ENCLOSURE page, click the applicable component type. The component types are listed below.
- Enclosure
- Shows information about the enclosure itself.
- Power and Cooling Modules
- Shows information about the power and cooling modules and about the power supplies and fans in those modules.
- When viewed from the rear of the enclosure, power and cooling module 0 is on the left, and power and cooling module 1 is on the right. The power supply and fan identifiers are listed below.
- Voltage Sensors
- Shows information about the voltage sensors in the power supplies in the power and cooling modules.
- Server Modules
- Shows information about the server modules in the enclosure.
- When viewed from the rear of the enclosure, server module 1 is on top, and server module 2 is on bottom.
- SAS Connectors
- Shows information about the SAS ports on the server modules in the enclosure. The port identifiers are:
- For the onboard SAS ports, B0 and B1
- For the ports on the SAS PCIe card, C3, C2, and C1
- Temperature Sensors
- Shows information about the temperature sensors in the enclosure.
